Francis J Lamb, CPA started the firm in 1996, eight years after starting his career in public accounting. Frank received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University in 1979. Areas of concentration included management, pre-law and accounting. He has completed more than nine hundred continuing professional education credits in the area of auditing, tax, business combination, valuations and investigative accounting.
Frank’s Management Advisory Services include extensive support in commercial and criminal litigation for both insurance companies and banking institutions. A major part of concentrated effort is spent in investigating financial information; their correlation and subsequent development of court related submissions and attorney preparation for both depositions and testimony.
Frank also has extensive experience in tax related matters including representation of clients at the appellate level of the Internal Revenue Service.
He has provided management advisory services to professional, hotel/motel (hospitality), construction and restaurant industries. These management advisory services have included management controls, cost analysis, financing alternatives and contract review.
Frank specializes in the areas of taxes, estate planning and succession planning for closely held businesses. His professional experience focuses on the areas and industries of construction, food and beverage, professional service organizations, medicine, and real estate. He has assisted many clients in mortgage and business restructuring, tax minimization strategies, complex banking transactions as well as divorce and business separation consulting.
Frank’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Management Advisory Division, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Frank has also served as a Regional Advisor for Newfield National Bank, as Treasurer for the Linwood Country Club, and is currently a trustee for Shore Health Enterprises at Shore Medical Center.
Samantha L Ambrose, CPA
Samantha L Ambrose, CPA has been an Associate at Francis J Lamb PC CPA for over 10 years.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Studies with a major concentration in Accounting and a minor concentration in Economics. Samantha was also inducted into the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Honor Society.
After working several years in various industry accounting roles, Samantha pursued and obtained her Certified Public Accountant license in the State of New Jersey. Samantha is also member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Main areas of practice include new business organization/start up, tax compliance, financial reporting, construction accounting, first & final accounting for estates, research, and personal/business budgeting and finances.
In addition to providing general tax and reporting services for individuals and businesses, Samantha is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and handles software conversions often for clients as a means of streamlining their business practices. She serves the local community through Milmay Christian Church.
Carolyne Raph
Carolyne Raph has worked with the firm as Administrative Assistant for over 17 years. She manages client communications, scheduling and data management for the firm. She also provides support and assistance to clients in the creating of new entities, filing of payroll and sales taxes, setting up estimated payments, bank reconciliations and bookkeeping as well. She received her QuickBooks certification from ACCC, and is also a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.
James E. Newcomb Jr.
After working with the firm for several tax seasons, James (Jamie) is now a full time associate.
He graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting. He also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education (Music) from Rowan University.
Jamie is currently in pursuit of his Certified Public Accountant license in the State of New Jersey and is a CPA candidate member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
His experience is in bookkeeping, financial reporting, research, and tax preparation. Jamie also has done extensive work in the area of preparing Paycheck Protection (PPP) loans, loan forgiveness applications, and Employee Retention Credits (ERTC) in wake of the various COVID19 legislation passed in 2020.
